New Noise
The new Kid Sister dropped today and was coincidentally (or not) leaked all over the blogosphere as well. To be honest, I’m kinda shocked most of these tracks didn’t get out sooner. The album, ‘Ultraviolet’ (orginally titled ‘Dream Date) has been a long time coming and I’m glad that it’s finally seeing the light of day. On this track ‘Step’ she gets some help from Rusko and Estelle and pretty much nails the whole dubstep/hip hop/pop crossover vibe. Figured I’d thrown some G’n'R and Sly out there too, just cause.

Solid Gold Mix
New mix recorded live this morning (a little tweaking in ableton after the fact) with no preparation and moderately hungover. Stole the Superstition / Limb by Limb mix from Cosmo Baker, it’s just so perfect. Some sloppy mixes, no real coherency and some serious throwbacks but overall I like how it turned out. Alot of songs squeezed into 43 min. Cheers!
